Lucky stands about 15 hands, and this young bay
is enjoying his work at Harmony. He has a smooth trot and canter, and loves taking
students over fences. He has personality plus and has become a huge hit with students.
Lucky works part-time in the school and is currently leased by Emma Bernstein.
Dixie is a cute black and white paint pony that
could go, and go, and go all day long. She loves to work. She is great at giving
that first lesson or taking a more advanced student over a course of cross-rails.
Dixie works part-time in the school and is currently leased by Callie Oliver.
At
15.1 hands, Duke is a great Quarter Horse. He is very willing to do everything
asked of him. He has an awesome canter and is energetic. He is a red dun (which
means he has a reddish-cream color to his body with reddish-brown mane and tail
and a dorsal stripe). He is very friendly to people and has a great personality.
Duke is a wonderful all around horse that can easily jump a 2'3" course or
go western. He loves being the center of attention in the show ring. Duke is owned
by Cathy Cosgrove and is also used in the school. He is currently being exclusively
leased by Beckie and Chris Price.
Tiki is one of the sweetest horses at Harmony
Horse Stables. She is a great beginner's horse and is happy to work.
She is dark brown with a little white star on her forehead. At 21
she remains young and energetic and still loves helping people learn
how to ride. Tiki is a medium sized pony so is great for kids and
small adults to learn on.
Texas is a 16-hand chestnut Quarter Horse. He was purchased
by the Jarrell family. He is still here at HHS and loves his new family!
Fred, owned by Donna and Nicole Rassulo, is a 21 year old
chestnut Thoroughbred. He is a patient, gentle horse who loves people and horses.
Fred is only used part-time in the school for riders of level 3A and above. He
is one of Harmony Horse Stables' best jumpers.
Queenie
is our tiny, grey Shetland pony. In her 30's she is still energetic!
In her semi-retirement Queenie enjoys doing several beginner lessons
for small children each week. Her best friend is BrenRae. You will
often see them snoozing together, scratching each other's withers,
or sharing their hay.
BrenRae
is a 16 year old, grey pony that does lessons primarily for kids Levels 1A - 2B.
She is one of the best school ponies at Harmony Horse Stables and has a large
fan base. She is the pony that most kids first learn to canter on. She no longer
jumps, but still teachers kids how to correctly ride over groundpoles.
Abby
is a beautiful brown pony with a thick flaxen mane and tail - doesn't she look
like a Thelwell Pony? She has an adorable personality and will never make faces
at other horses. When taking care of beginner riders, Abby does her job wonderfully.
She is great at teaching how to jump. Abby had the opportunity to go with Harmony
Horse Stables to Tamarack Hill Farm in February. Abby may teach beginners, but
she also has a lot to offer the more experienced rider.
Strawberry is a cute, 17 year old, Welsh pony.
She gets her name because she is a strawberry roan. This past year, Strawberry
has been schooling cross-country with us as well as competing at the Apple Knoll
Summer Jumper Series. She is cute as can be, trotting on the lunge line teaching
beginners how to post as well as turning on the "Look at ME" attitude
as she takes her rider through a twisting, turning, jumping course.
Simon is a wonderful 14 H pony that just loves to be loved. Carefully
taking his rider over their first jump or galloping cross-country at an event
this guy loves to please. He enjoys his job of teaching people how to ride. He
also LOVES hugs and kisses from his riders. He works part-time in the school and
is currently being leased by Tessa Doherty.
Cider is a dark bay, 8 year old, Quarter Horse. He was recently
purchased by Lindsay Stanford and is leased by Niki McDonnell. Both girls have
a great time showing him in the jumper ring and competing him in eventing.
Toby Keith is a 16+H, bay, Thoroughbred. He is very sweet and
loves to tote around beginner riders on and off the lunge line. He also teaches
beginner jumping.
George Gershwin is a 16H, chestnut, thoroughbred. He used to
race, but is loving his new life as a sporthorse. He is used for advanced riders.
Penny
Lane is a 15.2 H, chestnut, thoroughbred mare. She is very sweet and
kind. She switches very easily from a baby-sitter for beginners to a ready-to-go
event horse. She is greatly cherished for her ability to teach riders as well
as step into the show ring and perform! She qualified for the 2006 and 2007 Regional
Championships at Beginner Novice.
