LEASING & BOARDING

leaseworkLeasing
For the more serious student, a very practical alternative to horse ownership is leasing. Harmony Horse Stables offers several lease plans for those students interested in the freedom of riding outside of their scheduled lessons. Leasing is a great way to learn all about horse care and riding without the expense of ownership. It's almost like owning your own horse! We offer three leasing options to suit a variety of needs. For details and cost, please contact Stacey at stacey@harmonyhorsestables.com.

Riding Club
The Riding Club is designed for students who want practice rides to work on what they learn in their lessons. This is also a great introductory to leasing. It includes one practice ride per week and is on a month-to-month basis. The horse will be assigned each week by an instructor.

stallPartial Lease
The Partial Lease is designed for the student who wants to advance in their riding and is possibly interested in competing at horse shows. The partial lease includes 2 practice rides per week on a horse chosen with the assistance and approval of their teacher. To participate in the partial lease, a minimum commitment of six months is required. An additional signing fee may apply.

Exclusive Lease
For the more serious rider, we have designed the Exclusive Lease. This lease puts one rider and one horse together for a minimum of twelve months. The horse will not be used in the school or by another lessee. With the assistance and approval of the teacher, the student may choose their own horse to lease. A weekly training and lesson schedule will be set up. The student will cover all expenses of the horse including, but not limited to, farrier, dentist, and vet costs. To participate in the Exclusive Lease, a minimum commitment of twelve months is required. An additional signing fee may apply.

Rules for All Leases

  • Practice rides are to be scheduled in advance.
  • Practice lessons are non-cumulative.
  • Lessons are an additional cost.
  • A minimum of two lessons per week is required for all leases.
  • All leases are non-refundable in part or full.

Boarding
Boarding is available to anyone taking lessons or having their horse trained at Harmony Horse Stables. Our boarding fee is $765 per month. We pride ourselves on the individual attention each horse receives. Along with quality care, we will help set up a proper training and exercise schedule for horse and rider. We also offer a large variety of services including grooming, clipping, tacking-up, exercising, etc.
